I'm doing a photobooth at my wedding and would love to find those dry erase speech bubbles... Did you make them yourselves? I can't find them anywhere online.

I love, love, LOVE the white board speech bubble. So much fun! Any idea how they made it? Did they order a piece of dry erase material and cut it themselves? I googled and didn't come up with anything pre-made. And I haven't found (yet) where you can purchase a small piece of material to cut...

As a wedding photographer here in Santa Barbara I know how big-time photo booths are! Soooo much fun!

This is a very nice explantion of the basics of a booth set up, but lacks the coolest feature of printing out photos on site. I've written a small snippet of code that allows one to print photos out and you can find it on my blog on my web site
www.rentphotobooths.com
and of course for those who dont' want to spend thousands on gear they can always rent a booth from us and save some money :)

Hey Tim, the setup here was all from one light - a Speedotron ring flash. I'm not definite, but almost any ring flash will give you this kind of look. It's very distinctive. Look out for the give away 'shadow halo' around each person :-)

Unfortunately this is not the 'Strobist' way, but renting a ring flash might be the only way to get this look without shelling out for one. Might be hard to replicate otherwise. Sorry.

Great idea! I'm considering setting this up for our next party, so I have a question. How many and what kind of strobes are you using. I've got a Canon 420EX to use and am wondering if that's going to produce shadows. I really like the light coverage of the photos on this page, so I'd like to use something similar.
